In the laboratory of pharmacotoxicology, medicines and medical devices imported to the territory of the republic and produced by local manufacturers, pyrogenicity, acute and chronic poisoning, allergic and haemolytic action, biological activity, histamine sensitivity and antimicrobial activity are tested by qualified specialists using state and various pharmacopoeial articles (XI, XII and XIII editions of ND, FS, FSP, GF with the use of CD, GOST, ISO).
At the same time, analyses for the detection of bacterial endotoxin in infusion and injection preparations, syringes and systems are carried out.
