The laboratory of control and standardisation of
medicines carries out quality control of physico-chemical indicators of medicines
and medical products imported into the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan
and produced by local manufacturers. Including description, authenticity,
colour, pH of the medium, mechanical particles, osmotic pressure, iodine,
solubility, disintegration, dose uniformity, heavy metals, organic residues,
solvents, quantitative analysis and other physico-chemical indicators of medicines
and medical devices, labelling, State and various pharmacopoeial articles (ND,
FS, FSP, XI, XII and XIII editions of GF, BPH, EPh, USP, Ts, GOST, ISO) on
request and physico-chemical analyses of mineral and drinking water on the
territory of the Republic analyses are performed by qualified specialists using
modern instrumentation and equipment according
to UzDst: 540-2010 rev. 1,2,3.
At the same time, analyses of excipients from local manufacturers, analyses
of raw materials created by master's students provided by the institute, and
reagents used to analyse sterile drugs produced in domestic pharmacies are
prepared by qualified specialists.
